Gathered from the internet over several years, these video sequences of DivX CamRip* record the unintentional silhouetted passage of spectators between the screen and the piratic camcorder. Unwitting actors, these anonymous figures destabilize the film’s original mise en scène in a space where crude pirated images confront the high definition of the movie industry.

*CamRip: movie illegally refilmed with a camcorder in a theatre with the goal of being distributed on the P2P downloading network.
