Asemograph is a seismograph that translates the vibrations of the phone into an asemic script. When the phone is placed on the asemograph, the vibrations from each call, text, and app notification activates the machine, whose pen-wielding arm responds to the micro tremors, leaving marks on the paper scroll.
This output is an inscription of the social, familial, commercial requests beckoning and bidding for our attention. For Output 1, all notifications were activated, creating an uninterrupted barrage of tremors that were transcribed onto the scroll.
